ManpowerGroup names president Becky Frankiewicz CEO

Frankiewicz will succeed Jonas Prising, who will retire as CEO and remain executive chair through 2027.

Milwaukee-based ManpowerGroup Inc. (NYSE: MAN) named Becky Frankiewicz chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027. She succeeds Jonas Prising, who will retire from the role after leading the company since 2014.

The company announced the leadership changes Oct. 15 alongside its third-quarter results. The board approved the appointments Oct. 13, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Frankiewicz, 55, is currently president and chief strategy officer. She will be the fifth CEO in ManpowerGroup’s nearly 80-year history. The company operates in more than 70 countries and territories through its Manpower, Experis and Talent Solutions brands.

Frankiewicz will join the board Jan. 1, raising its membership from 11 to 12 directors. She will stand for election at the 2027 annual meeting and will not serve on committees or receive director fees. Prising will serve as executive chair through Dec. 31, 2027, before leaving the board.

Frankiewicz became president and chief strategy officer in June 2025, after serving as chief commercial officer from June 2022 and regional president for North America from July 2017. ManpowerGroup said she has led commercial strategy and AI integration across its brands.

Prior to joining ManpowerGroup, she was general manager of Quaker Foods North America at PepsiCo Inc. (Nasdaq: PEP) from October 2014 to July 2017. Her earlier roles included positions at Deloitte, Andersen Consulting and Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG). She has been a director of Energizer Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ENR) since January 2020.

Julie Howard, the board's lead director, said the board endorsed Frankiewicz after a succession planning process. Frankiewicz said she plans to expand the company's AI capabilities.

Frankiewicz's compensation package increases

Frankiewicz’s annual base salary will rise to $1.15 million on Jan. 1. Her target annual cash incentive will equal 150% of base salary, and her target long-term incentive award for 2027 will be $7.5 million.

As executive chair, Prising will receive a $1 million base salary, a target bonus of 140% of base salary, and a 2027 long-term incentive target of $5.2 million.

An amended severance agreement raises Frankiewicz's potential severance payment from two to three times her base salary plus target bonus. The higher payment applies if ManpowerGroup terminates her employment without cause or she resigns for good reason within two years of a change in control or during a protected period defined in the agreement.

Third-quarter revenue grows

ManpowerGroup reported third-quarter revenue of $4.84 billion, up 4.4%. Revenue from the Americas segment rose 13.5% to $1.25 billion, while revenue in France fell 3.5% to $1.13 billion. Net earnings were $34.1 million, or $0.71 per diluted share, compared with $18.0 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, a year earlier.

The company expects fourth-quarter diluted earnings per share between $1.03 and $1.13, with an effective tax rate of 44%.
