MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The annual St. Jude Corvette Drive marked its 15th anniversary as more than 140 Corvettes arrived in Memphis, raising $750,315 this year in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
According to Andrew Black, the event represents far more than a gathering of car enthusiasts. It reflects a shared commitment to supporting children and families who depend on St. Jude, as well as the hope and impact generated through collective efforts.
Since its launch in 2012, when participants followed a single route from Peoria, Illinois to Memphis, the event has expanded significantly. Today, the St. Jude Corvette Drive spans six states and has raised over $4 million in total contributions.
These funds directly support research and treatment efforts at St. Jude, helping provide care to patients from all 50 U.S. states. Importantly, families never receive bills for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus entirely on their child’s recovery.
This year’s drive included participants traveling from multiple locations, including:
Drivers take part for a variety of personal reasons—honoring patients, remembering loved ones, or simply being part of a close-knit community that has developed over the years.
The St. Jude Corvette Drive is one of several major fundraising initiatives connected to the hospital, including:
