Since joining Options Technology as a graduate in 2017, Patrick Collins has steadily advanced through several key cybersecurity roles within the organization. He initially worked as a cyber security engineer before serving as Director of Threat and Vulnerability Management for the past three years prior to his latest promotion.

The appointment comes shortly after the company celebrated the 10-year anniversary of its award-winning Graduate and Placement Programme. Over the past decade, the program has recruited nearly 300 students, with approximately 68 percent progressing into senior leadership and management roles within the company, including Collins.

Danny Moore, President and CEO of Options Technology, stated that Collins’ long tenure with the company gives him valuable insight into both the organization’s growth and the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape, particularly with the increasing influence of artificial intelligence on security threats. Moore added that Collins’ promotion represents another step toward building a world-class security team capable of addressing modern cyber risks.

He also noted that the promotion reflects the success of the company’s Graduate and Placement Programme in creating long-term career development opportunities and supporting employee advancement into leadership positions.

The promotion is the latest in a series of leadership appointments at Options Technology. Recent additions include Bob Coletti and Michelle Kendell.

The announcement also follows the company’s recent acquisition of Crossvale, a company specializing in application and platform modernization services, as well as the firm’s milestone of achieving 15 years of SOC compliance.
