JOHANNESBURG--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cartrack, a global software platform focused on operational excellence and a subsidiary of Karooooo Limited (NASDAQ: KARO), has announced a long-term strategic partnership with the Maharishi Invincibility Institute to support youth from underserved communities in South Africa through education and skills development initiatives aimed at improving employment opportunities.
Cartrack currently employs more than 6,000 people across South Africa and continues to expand its workforce as the company grows. The new partnership strengthens the company’s existing Cartrack Academy initiative, creating a more integrated development pathway that supports young people from education and skills training through to workplace readiness and long-term employment opportunities within Cartrack.
Joshua Victor, CEO of Cartrack South Africa, said the collaboration focuses on building sustainable futures for unemployed youth from marginalised communities. According to him, the partnership combines academic learning with practical workplace exposure, helping young people transition more effectively between education and employment through a structured support system.

The partnership further strengthens Cartrack’s commitment to youth empowerment through the Cartrack Academy programme. Every year, around 500 young people join the initiative, where they receive accredited SETA and QCTO qualifications along with practical industry experience designed to prepare them for professional careers. Many participants later transition into permanent roles within Cartrack, making the programme an effective long-term talent development pipeline.
