More Than 140 Corvettes Arrive in Memphis for Multi-State Fundraising Tradition

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The annual St. Jude Corvette Drive celebrated its 15th year as a convoy of over 140 Corvettes reached Memphis, raising $750,315 in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“The event represents much more than the cars themselves,” said Andrew Black, president of the drive. “It reflects the lives touched, the hope shared, and the collective dedication to children and families who depend on St. Jude every day.”

Since its launch in 2012, the event has grown significantly. What started as a single route from Peoria to Memphis has expanded into a six-state initiative, raising more than $4 million to support research and treatment for children facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. These contributions enable St. Jude to provide care for patients from all 50 states without charging families for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

This year’s participants journeyed from multiple locations, including Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, Rensselaer, and the Great Lakes region of Michigan. Their participation highlights the event’s growing reach and the strong commitment of supporters willing to travel long distances. Drivers take part for various reasons — to honor patients, remember loved ones, or simply be part of a close-knit and supportive community.

The St. Jude Corvette Drive is part of a broader family of initiatives, including St. Jude Rides, which marks its 20th anniversary this September, and St. Jude Runs, where participants cover 465 miles between Memphis and Peoria — a tradition that has continued for 45 years.
